I love old Jackie Chan films, Rumble In The Bronx being a favorite of mine. I was excited to hear that Chan was teaming up again with the director of that film, Stanley Tong. I was also excited to hear Chan would be playing an Indian Jones type character as he did in the Operation Condor films.
Kun Fu Yoga stars Chan as Professor Chan, a world renowned Archeologist in fact he's considered the greatest one in China. In this film he and his team are hired to find the lost treasures of Bhima. Of course when they find it they are jumped by the bad guys and and lose the treasure.
From there we go to familiar Chan territory as he fights and goes on the hunt for the bad guys. One of the best sequences of the film involves A car chase in Dubai with amazing mid air collisions.
This is definitely on of Chan's best films in recent years and not only are his amazing fight sequences highlighted but his trade mark humor is back on the forefront as well.
Overall this is a good film to add to your collection and it truly is a fun one you can enjoy with your family
Overall 3 out of 5 Stars
