It's time again for another wrestling like it was a movie review we I forgo the stupid match by match star ratings people have grown accustomed to. Today's review is from my favorite company AAW based out if IL. Know for High-Flying and Hard hitting action AAW is know for no count outs, no dq's, just wrestling. Today's show is currently stream on Highspots Network, it's Hell Hath No Fury from 11/4/17
The card is as follows

It's now time to sit down for an explosive night of action, the crowd is already fired up as they always are and we are set for the opening match a 6 pack challenge which basically a 6 way match. A great way to start the show with every high spot in the book being hit in the opening minuets. DJZ, who I've had the privilege of seeing live stole the show and got the win earning himself a title shot against Penta El 0M
Now that the insane opener is done it's time for some good comedy action as The Hooligans battle Colt Cabana and Chuck Taylor it what was a laugh riot. The Hooligans played the fools and they ended up getting outwitted by Colt Cabana after a fun series of exchanges in the end as Cabana and Taylor went over.
Veda Scott and Delilah Doom were next in the opening round of the women's title tournament. Good mic work to play to the crowd in but a fairly slow match with lots of holds and rest spots. Doom ended up making a big rally from behind in a fun fashion to get the pin and advance in what was unfortunately a slow point of the night.
The crowd was a little quieter but Kylie Rae vs Superman Yung changed that with a fantastic fast paced match. The crowd was into everything both lady's did and Rae got a huge pop when she scored the pinfall in this match.
Now things start to get hot again as Michael Elgin takes on Shane Strikland in one of the most competitive matches I have ever seen. Both men pull out every move they have in a 20min classic. Strickland was hitting everything he had but 2 Elgin Bombs sealed his fate as Big Mike pulls out a win. The crowd was absolutely insane during this match you could literally feel the energy coming from your tv.
Fans bring the weapons for the next encounter as PACO takes on Connor Braxton. These two battle it out with a guitar hero game set, pumpkins, a cheese grater, bats, and even plastic sliver wear. Connor, who I find beyond entertaining even got out his signature hover board to turn things in his favor. And in what was a vicious spot he piled everything into the center of the ring and covered it in thumbtacks. Sadly for Connor PACO hit a reversal and sent him crashing through the weapons pile and getting the pin in a match that was as humorous as it was violent. The crowd was nuts and the match was awesome
Trevor Lee came down next and reminded us how he was an Impact Superstar. His opponent Eddie Kingston came out, and Trevor gave him a chance to simply leave the ring. Eddie didn't listen and the two went at it. They ended up having a good solid match that Eddie was about to win until Cobb and Starr came out to distract Eddie giving Trevor the win. Short but fun and it gave the crowd a chance to catch there breaths from the last match just in time for the tag title match
The Besties in the World took on Zachary Wentz and Desmond Xavier in what was a surprisingly short match. The story throughout the match was the teased decention between the Besties as they kept inadvertently hitting each other. However there arguing works to there advantage as they manage to pull out the upset and win the titles.
OI4K vs Jeff Cobb and Matt Starr is out next and this is the one I had been waiting for. This match was a cornucopia of violence. These 4 men battled all over the building and through the crowd. Trashcans and chairs are everywhere. OI4K turns the tide in their favor but Trevor Lee comes out to cause the distraction allowing Cobb and Starr to get the Duke. A great post match brawl erupts as Eddie Kingston and AR Fox both hit the ring causing Cobb, Starr, and Lee to escape the ring
The main event is next as Rey Fenix defends his heavyweight title against a Mystery Opponent who happens to be the returning Josh Alexander. The two put on an absolute clinic, with Alexander doing his best to keep the High-Flying Fenix grounded. That strategy doesn't work long enough as Fenix is able to explode and get the win in a fabulous main event that the crowd was crazy for
However after the match the arena went dark and when the lights came back on Jimmy Jacobs was standing in the ring to challenge Fenix for his heavyweight title at the next show. The two have an intense standoff and both leave setting up the next show and sending the fans home buzzing.
AAW continues to show why they are one of the top Indy leagues out there. The show was a spectacular event with something for everyone and I love when a show ends setting up the next event. That's is story telling at it's finest
Overall if this was a movie I give it a good 3.5 out of 5 Stars!
