When you have to kill the boogeyman, you buy a John Wick action figure! \nThis 7-inch Select-scale action figure captures modern action icon Wick as he appears in his first film outing, dressed in a suit and with multiple weapon accessories as well as his faithful dog, whose death spurs the action of the movie. In scale to all other Select action figures, and featuring over 20 points of articulation, this figure comes packaged in display-ready Select action figure packaging with side-panel artwork for shelf reference. Designed by Yuri Tming and sculpted by Gentle Giant Studios! John Wick is packaged in the clear bubble plastic making the figure fully visible. JOHN WICK is on the side and the back card is designed bright and colorful purple and blue. The bottom left hand again has the John Wick name If you’re a collector that does not open these it has the standard hook on the top of the package so they can be tacked onto a wall with no issue if you still want to show it off. As a nice touch you can see his little beagle, guns, and coin with none of them being covered up John Wick is designed spot on to resemble his film counterpart He’s skinnier that some of the other figures because he’s a pretty small guy in the films. Designed to be athletic more than muscular you can still see all the muscles underneath the suite just not bulging like a traditional hero. His hair and beard match up perfectly. He has cuts on his face to show he's fresh from battle. His eyes and mouth form a sort of blank look taking a bit away from the intensity. Wearing the trademark black suite, white shirt and tie he looks spot on. I love how the outfit is sculpted to be all wrinkled and worn yet not tattered in terms of color. If you notice the black dress shoes are brighter than the outfit giving it a well polished look. Throw in the black tie and you have a perfect match. This is probably my favorite in terms of playability. He’s fully posable and able to do battle with any of the villains, or other toys you throw his way. Not only does he articulate the smoothest but he comes packing an entire aresenal of weapons. The addition of the coin and dog are a great touch. This is a great figure to display or to have him battle it out with other toys Overall 4 out of 5 Stars

Beast, joins the long-running Marvel Select action figure line, adding to the already extensive X-Men line-up. Featuring approximately 16 points of articulation and interchangeable hands, the 7-inch figure comes with a new section of the Danger Room, with climbing bars for the team's resident super-genius gymnast. Combine it with the other X-Men's sections of the Danger Room to forge a larger diorama! Packaged in the famous Select packaging, with side-panel artwork for shelf reference. Sculpted by Jeasn St. Jean! Beast, as you can see is packaged in the clear bubble plastic making the figure fully visible. Like the others the name MARVELS BEAST goes down the left side and the back card is designed bright and blue you can see the background is designed with images of Beast. The bottom left hand where the characters name is features the X-Men symbol. If you’re a collector that does not open these it has the standard hook on the top of the package so they can be tacked onto a wall with no issue if you still want to show it off. After about 5 minutes of unwrapping this guy, yes he’s in there with those annoying twist ties and bands both I was able to get him out. He’s a very heavy figure, which he should be as he is one of the bigger X-men. The design is amazing. Leaps and bounds above a normal action figure you get at a big box store. You can see in the pics below how well sculpted and shaded he is. All the bulging muscles and a deep color blue with tons of shading and etching for the fur. They really make it look exactly like the character. The trademark black shorts with the bright yellow X symbol belt really stands out. Each toe, and finger on the fist is fully detailed. The arms and legs move up and down like a standard figure as do the hands and feet. Beast bends in the legs and arms as well as twists in the waist. The head moves as well. He’s a big figure that’s designed to be overly muscular so he moves a bit stiffer than the others my son and I played with. I took a pic of his head to show the detail that goes into these things. Squinty eyes, etched in hair to seperate it a bit from the fur on the body, the growling mouth it accented by the blood red inside and bright white fangs. This truly is an impressive figure in every sense of the word. You can see from the side the entire body is designed extremely big and muscular with fur all over. Everything is comic accurate as well as anatomically as all the muscles are spot on. Notice the subtile lines of black and variations of blue to give the figure depth The base is a piece of the Danger Room. If you get the other Diamond Select X-Men figures it all connects to form a big set. I was not a huge fan of this base. It looks nice but it was a pain to snap together. It took me about 10min to finally line up and get it connected. It's very thin so I didn't encourage my son to smash other figures into it.
My son play’s with these guys every single day. That’s saying something as he is normally not an action figure guy. These are amazing figures that you should buy either to collect or for your kids to play with. There much more durable than any figure I have ever come across. You can beat them like crazy and they don’t break or scratch. Throw in the fact they look amazing and you have a great toy or collectable for any age. And remember. Display base means kids should pick it up. Overall 4 out of 5 Stars To order from Diamond Select Toys click HERE! To view other marvel items from Diamond Select Toys click HERE! Sabretooth was originally portrayed as a non-powered serial killer but was later written as a mutant possessing bestial superhuman abilities, most notably a rapid healing factor, razor-sharp fangs and claws, and superhuman senses. He is a vicious assassin, responsible for numerous deaths both as a paid mercenary and for his personal pleasure. Although he first appears in Iron Fist he's most commonly associated with the X-Men in particular as an enemy of Wolverine This figure is big. Not as big as Hulk, but Big. Heavy, tall, and wide this Sabretooth figure is truly comic accurate. It’s a durable figure that can take a heck of a beating, and dish one out as well. Packaged in the clear covered blister card you can see the Sabretooth Name going down the left side with the giant print of his claw marks on the bottom left. The background of the card is a comic book art splash. Sabretooth is packed fully visible with his his base, and accessories all fully displayed with the tab on the card to hang if you don’t want to open. Once you remove the ungodly amount of tape and bands, and those stupid twist ties you have a pretty amazing figure. Very big and stiff. He moves in all the main spots. Legs, feet, hand, and arms all bend, the waist bens, as does the head. The head looks great. The steel blue mutant eyes wincing underneath the brown helmet, that matches the outfit and comic perfectly look menacing. Combined with the snarl that you can clearly see his fangs really add to the evil look. Everything is etched and shaded in. The blond hair and mutten chops look great as does the fur collar around the costume. You can see all of the over exaggerated muscles popping from underneath the outfit as well A quick look at the back shows how the costume all matches perfectly. This is comic accuracy at its finest. I have the hands turned out to show the movement. The figure is articulate, just a bit stiffer than others primarily due to the size The base is some type of industrial setting. It's features lots of removable mechanical style pieces. The best of those is the "Caution Do Not Enter" sign that is bent and twisted. My son loves using it to beat other figures senseless.
This is another great toy for play or display. Diamond Select makes the best designed, and most durable toys out there today. Normally I would post a little something about Elektra’s origin to start this but that is one character who has really been twisted around over the years. Long story short she was Matt Murdock’s (Daredevil) college girlfriend. She was also a highly trained assassin, learning her skills from Stick from the Chaste. She eventually became darker and joined forces with The Hand then she just went on her own as an assassin for hire. Working for the Kingpin she was hired to kill Foggy Nelson but when she realized who it was, and he was Matt’s friend she joined forces with Daredevil to take down the Kingpin. Things didn’t go her way and she was murdered by Bullseye. The Hand found her and attempted to bring her back to life but they were stopped by Daredevil and Stone. Stone was able to bring her back to life later so she could help Wolverine. I’m stopping there as depending on what you read things branch out different ways. Long story short she’s an assassin that on most occasions helps the Marvel heroes. I’m a diehard Daredevil fan so naturally Elektra is another character I love. Her first run in the Frank Miller Daredevil comics was amazing. I liked her first stand alone mini-series as well. Hell I loved her character on the Daredevil and Defenders Netflix show. When I saw Diamond Select Toys made a Marvel Comic Book Style Elektra Resin Statue I knew it would have to go next to my other Daredevil and Elektra pieces. This one is so beautiful. I love the comic book look, and this captures it so perfectly. From head to toe this is Frank Millers creation come to life the way only Diamond Select can do. Starting at the head you can see she is comic book style so not patterned to look like any of the actresses who have portrayed her in the past. She has her red bandanna which has wrinkles sculpted into it on with her eyebrows arched up as though she has just spotted someone she is after. The head tilts slightly to the left and in a very nice touch you can see the neck lines and muscles are protruding a bit on the right side to accentuate the head cock. Her hair is etched and done in a very deep black with a few stands flowing in the front of her neck and shoulder. It goes completely back around the right ear to show off her silver diamond erring which adds color to the top portion. Her lips are almost pouty and done in the exact same red as her bandanna and costume. Her eyes are very wide. With a heavy emphasis on black eyeshadow around them. There is even a slight touch of black between her lips as well. Moving to the body we get that comic book look done to perfection. You can see where her muscles are throughout but the sculpting and shading give it more of a comic style hourglass figure than a real world look like some of the statues that have been done of her. The costume is spot on. Red, with shades of darker red and a hint of light black mixed in to give it shadowing. The pencil thin black outline is present around every part of her outfit. Her chest sticks out like in the comics, and you can see her abs slightly poking through the costume as well. Her black banding around the top of her waist is present as are her red tapings throughout her forearms and biceps Her legs flow down long with the same comic style muscles etched in them. Long with larger thighs. You can see the he wrapping of her boots match the wrappings on her arms. The legs look great as they are shadowed perfectly to give it an over exaggerated yet semi real look She’s clutching her trademark Sai’s in her hands and I have to really give praise to this. Her fingers are individually sculpted and the placing is exactly how one would hold one in real life. With the side blades sticking out on the left and right end fingers and the thumb cradling the back of the handle. That’s the kind of little details that put Diamond Select ahead of the game. From the back you can see a great shot of her hair. Dark black with certain spots that are a bit lighter to give it texture. Its all sculpted to have a wavy etched look about it as it blows to the left side. The tail of the bandanna hangs to the left while it rests on her hair. Notice how the arms are out and back causing the back muscles to arch inward. Once again a perfect example of great attention to detail. The back of the costume has the same style of darker red with touches of black shading and her back piece of the costume hangs down to cover her butt, yet leave just enough to see the bend in the right cheek. You also get another shot of how well the Sai’s are placed in her fingers as well as the crossing and slight arching of the hands. The base is a bright green marble pillar of some kind. It has a very glossy paint job with tons of little black speckles to give it the look of real marble. There is a design in the center of what I believe is some type of Asian style mask. Its painted a dark bronze with lots of black shadowing. Her feet rest in the center with one boot firmly planted in front with the other placed behind with the arch slightly up giving an appearance of her walking. I really like the glossy pain on this base. It really is an eye catcher and help to make this piece stand out even more.
This is a must own for any collector. There were only 3000 made so you better act fast as these tend to sell out rather quickly. If you a fan of Elektra, or the Marvel Comic pieces in general it’s a definite piece you want. Go order one today. Overall 4.5 out of 5 Stars! To order from Diamond Select Toys click HERE! The Legends in 3D line expands to the world of animation with this 10-inch bust of the Iron Giant, star of the animated film of the same name. With his pal Hogarth perched on his shoulder, this bust is the ultimate gift for any fan of The Iron Giant, or of iron giants in general. Limited to an edition of 1,000 pieces, this numbered bust comes with a certificate of authenticity in a full-color box. Designed by Joe Allard! ![]() Before he was Fast and Furious, or saying “I am Groot” Vin Diesel was The Iron Giant. A1999 American animated science fiction film produced by Warner Bros. Feature Animation and directed by Brad Bird in his directorial debut, It is based on the 1968 novel The Iron Man by Ted Hughes (which was published in the United States as The Iron Giant) and was scripted by Tim McCanlies from a story treatment by Bird. The film stars the voices of Vin Diesel (voicing the titular character), Eli Marienthal, Jennifer Aniston, Harry Connick Jr., Christopher McDonald and John Mahoney. Set during the Cold War in 1957, the film centers on a young boy named Hogarth Hughes, who discovers and befriends a gigantic metallic robot who fell from outer space. With the help of a beatnik artist named Dean McCoppin, Hogarth attempts to prevent the U.S. military and Kent Mansley, a paranoid federal agent, from finding and destroying the Giant. One of the best animate films ever made is now an amazing resin bust from Diamond Select Toys. 1000 of these were made and I was lucky enough to get my hands on one. Highly collectable, but I opened mine anyway. It’s now the centerpiece on my kitchen table. And it is beautiful. As you can see it’s a perfect replica of the Giant, and Hogarth as well. It’s not heavily detailed as its not supposed to. The cartoon was about as simple as it gets in terms of animation and that is what added to the charm. Starting with the head you can see it’s a light grey as it the entire Giant. He has the big yellow green eyes that are inside two sunken in holes. The eye holes are very subtly shaded to give it depth but not enough to break up the monotony of the rest of the grey as its supposed to be all one shade. The fin goes straight down to where the end of a nose would be and the jaw pat, which looks like a giant bold have the etchings to show the 3 parts, with the middle almost looking like where a mouth would be. Its bolted on the sides just like in the film. . His head is slightly cocked with almost a simple smile to his face. It’s just a really charming piece to have on display. Moving down you see the neck area. A series of shaft all with the three bends in them to look accurate. These also have a very slight shade to make it look more three dimensional but not enough that you would notice the change in the color. The screw on the right side matches the cartoon, as this really is a carbon copy. Inside all the shafts in simple black base, with a thicker layer of iron surrounding it you can see the base is actually the bottom of his head piece which would be what is inside the torso. If you looks at the cartoon drawing you can see in some head shots part of this around the outline. It’s a really nice touch. The back shows off the neck design. The simple rings from the back of the head to the shoulder then down to the base line. Its done exactly the same as in the cartoon 4 rings if you don’t count the bottom of the head all in silver, with black spacers in between. It trails down to a big ring that is secured onto the shoulder section, then begins to flow a more tight silver and black down to the base. The shoulders themselves are perfectly accurate with the two bars on each side. You can see the back of Hogarth as he sits gently on the giants shoulder. Speaking of Hogarth, he is the spitting image of the cartoon. Dressed in his cuffed blue jeans and red an white shoes he’s starring at the Giant with both love and awe. With one foot crossed and his hands behind his back. I cant get over how perfectly done he is. The flop in the front of the hair, which is slightly etched, one eyebrow just a tad higher than the other to show how close he is focusing on the giant with his big blue eyes, to the loving smile on his face, it’s a thing of beauty. He even has the exact same shade of blue undershirt under his red and black pull over. The addition of Hogarth was a fantastic touch as it really brings out the joy and love the carton had.
This is a simply amazing piece. Made from resin it’s a pretty heavy statue. If you’re a fan of the cartoon it’s a must own. As I said only 1000 of these were made and they are going fast. I opened mine the second I got it, and it just brings a smile to my face. Its truly a beautiful piece from a beautiful cartoon. Overall 5 out of 5 Stars! To order from Diamond Select Toys click HERE! Created by writer/artist Dave Stevens, the character first appeared in 1982 and is a homage to the Saturday matinee serial heroes from the 1930s through the 1950s. The Rocketeer's secret identity is Cliff Secord, a stunt pilot who discovers a mysterious jetpack that allows him to fly. His adventures are set in Los Angeles and New York in 1938, and Stevens gave them a retro, nostalgic feel influenced by the King of the Rocket Men and Commando Cody movie serials (both from Republic Pictures), and pinup diva Bettie Page. The character was adapted into the 1991 Walt Disney Pictures film The Rocketeer by director Joe Johnston. Wolverine has always been a favorite character of mine since childhood. He has claws popping out of his hands to stab people with what's not to like. Bad ass in the movies, even badder in the comics he's a great character. When I was little I had his Secret Wars figure with removable claws. Now my son gets to play with the Diamond Select Toys Version. It's pretty awesome. Blister packed with a clear front so you can proudly see the figure. It’s got the name on the left side with the X logo on the bottom, not blocking any of the figure, and the backing is a design of Wolverine splash pages. It’s got the tab on the front in case you want to hang it without damage. It’s a really neat display figure made all the more cooler because the "X" has claw slashes going through it The figure is perfectly designed with his trademark yellow and blue costume. It’s the original style and it’s the one I personally most associate with Wolverine. Bright yellow, with blue gloves and boots and the black helmet horn and shoulder straps. The claws are a bright silver making them pop. The head turns, as do all the hands, feet waist, arms, and legs move. Elbow and knee joints bend making it a fully posable and playable His arms do not fully extend out to the sides but that’s about the only thing that doesn’t move smoothly. My son has had him fighting Hulk for days on end now along with the other figures from this line. These are the most well deigned well-made figures out there. These can really hold up to the punishment kids can dish out. Here's a side shot of the claws. There part of the figure so not retractable. They have a little bend to them so you can attack the other figures with worry they will snap. They look great and I really can't stress enough how well these hold up to the wear and tear a kid will put on them The base is really cool it’s a section of the Danger Room, you can even see Cerebros head on the bottom right. Wolverine has the holes in his leg so he can be placed on the pegs in floor of the base when kids are done playing. And this one is really cool to play with as well as my son has his figures constantly battling in and around it. It gets knocked down slot

It tells you what it is on the side and the back card is designed bright and colorful you can see the background is designed with images of Thor. If you’re a collector that does not open these it has the standard hook on the top of the package so they can be tacked onto a wall with no issue if you still want to show it off. I dig how he's packaged on the base standing on it. It adds to the cool factor. The arms and legs move up and down like a standard figure as do the hands and feet. Thor bends in the legs and arms as well as twists in the waist. The head moves as well. He’s a big figure that’s designed to be overly muscular so he moves a bit stiffer than the others my son and I played with. Plus he has a giant cape which makes it a bit harder to spin him around Speaking of his head I took a pic of it to show the detail that goes into these things. Squinty eyes, etched long flowing hair the stoic mouth, and the battle cuts really give this thing depth. Thor's helmet looks really cool but I really wish it could be removed. The head turns, as do all the hands, feet waist, arms, and legs move. Elbow and knee joints bend making it a fully posable and playable His arms do not fully extend out to the sides but that’s about the only thing that doesn’t move smoothly. My son has had him fighting Thanos for days on end now along with the other figures from this line. These are the most well deigned well-made figures out there. These can really hold up to the punishment kids can dish out. Plus Thor and Captain America are the only two who seem to be able to defeat Thanos so it cool for Thor to beat him with his hammer The hammer is really slick. Thor's hand has a circle opening so the handle that's designed to be leather wrapped slides right in. The hammer itself is dark and light great color with black etchings and shadows to give it a real look. It's stays sturdy in the hand when your bashing the bad guys.
The base is really cool it looks like the top piece of a castle. Thor has the holes in his leg so he can be placed on the pegs in floor of the base when kids are done playing. And this one is really cool to play with as well as my son has his figures constantly jumping off of it knocking down the bad guys This is another great toy for play or display.
