Inconceivable Review

8/14/2017

Picture
The though of Nic Cage in a Hand The Rocks The Cradle insipred thriller should be enough to peak anyone's interest. Throw in Eva Maria from WWE as a sexy personal trainer and like me most people will be all in.

What follows is Inconceivable not in plot, that's the title of the film. It's the story of Angela (Gina Gershon) and Brian (Cage) a semi happy married couple with a young daughter named Cora. There both successfully doctors but Angela is now unable to conceive another child. Through her trainer (Eva Maria of WWE Fame) she meets Katie, who has a young daughter named Maddie the kids hit it off right away an Angela and Katie soon become fast friends.

Sadley Katie is a complete psycho. Through a series of circumstances I wont spoil here she is chosen to carry Angela's last egg. Durring this time she finds out the Angela plans on going back to work and thus deems her an unfit mother. So in true psycho fashion she devises a plan to make everyone think Angela is insane and keep the baby. We also learn about Katie's past which is also littered with insanity.

The film has quiet a few twists and turns to keep you watching. Gershon turns in a great performance as Angie, as does Nicky Whelan as the insane Katie. Sadley Cage has a small part but rest assured her give a typical over the top cage performance we have come to expect.

The film does keep you engrossed throughout and manages to add enough twists to put a new spin on a formula that has been done before so it's definitely worth watching

Overall 3 out of 5 Stars
