My Chauffeur Blu-ray Review

7/21/2017

Picture
Vinegar Syndrome is at it again, this time with a brand new restored release of the Crown International Pictures 80's Cult Classic, My Chauffer.

My Chauffer stars Deborah Foreman as Casey Meadows. A Madonna type 80s girl who one day received a letter informing her she is being offered a job as a limo driver. When she arrives at the company she doesn't quiet fit in as the other drivers are all men, and the manager is a sexist pig.

He gives her all the crap jobs, like driving a drugged up punk rock singer, a Sheik (played by Teller) who is being chased by a con artist (played by Penn) yes Pen and Teller are in this, that should be all you need to know to buy it.

She also has to drive around the company owners miserable son, Battle Witherspoon, played by Sam Jones. Yes from Flash Gordon. Of course they hate each other at first but soon begin to fall in love.

This all leads to a rather complicated series of events for an 80s comedy but a fitting end non the less .

While not as famous as Foreman's prior film Valley Girl I can tell you first hand this was a late night Cinemax classic, and now it's a Vinegar Syndrome release.

With that said you know the transfer is fantastic so we will skip to the special features
