Red Roses Of Passion Blu-ray Review

8/10/2017

Picture
Red Roses of Passion, now that's a title that grabs you in and really tugs at your heart strings. Luckily the film does not do that.
It's the story of a young nimpho name Carla. She lives with her aunt and cousin. Problem is they don't really mesh well. See her aunt and cousin are more prudish so to speak and don't like her man hungry ways and they nag her about them constantly.

Luckily for her she works with a young woman named End who is I. The Cult of Pan. A cult of horney women who pray to the God named Pan. They do this with roses, and by messing around so to speak with each other. There getting ready for a ritual know as The Quarter of the Moon.

For this they want Carla to join, and to keep her family out of the way they give her a magic elexier that will turn her cousin and aunt into full fledge nymphomaniacs. It works to ask they go sexually insane going after a delivery boy (thats a tried and true formula) and even each other. Now all three can participate I. The evil rituals.

Is the movie erotic, not really, it's played seriously but by today's standards it much more campy than it was ever intended to be. The acting however is good as the actresses do have great screen chemistry. My only complaint is the awful score used through the film..

Vinegar Syndrome has gotten there hands in this one and have put it out in a beautifully remastered Blu-ray with these special features

Region free Blu-ray/DVD combo pack
• Newly scanned and restored in 2k from the 35mm original camera negative
• Video interview with Sarno historian Michael Bowen
• English SDH Subtitles

It's part of Vinegar Syndromes new Sexploitation Signature Series and is limited to only 2,000 units so you should act quick as it is an enjoyable feature.

Overall

3 out of 5 Stars
