Vinnie Jones has opened up about his disappointing experience as the comic book character Juggernaut in X-Men: The Last Stand.
In a recent interview with Comic Book Movie, Jones discussed his experience working on X-Men: The Last Stand as Juggernaut. When asked about his experience working on the film, Jones didn't have anything kind to say, especially about director Brett Ratner:
"It wasn't the same Juggernaut as I signed on for. They took his storyline away, they'd taken his character away, his dialogue. I had two big meetings with Brett about it, and he said, 'Yeah, yeah, it's coming. They're writing stuff for you as we speak' and it never f***ing happened... Disappointment wise, that was probably one of the biggest. What's upsetting is some of the fans blame me! It was f***ing nothing to do with me!"
Fortunately, Juggernaut was given a second chance in Deadpool 2, where he crosses paths with Ryan Reynold's titular hero and battles Colossus. The character's unexpected cameo in the film was well-received by fans, due in large part to the character's more comic book accurate portrayal.
