Fresh from it’s award winning run at Edinburgh Film Festival, TriCoast Entertainment presents the USA release of the 2017 crime-filled drama, “FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT”, an intense, emotional film. Written and directed by Glen Kirby, alongside Jack in the Box Films, TriCoast Entertainment and Broad Green Pictures, “FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT” focuses on William McCrae’s ability to bring himself out of his years of depression to save his loved ones, and even himself with his own fighting hands.
After struggling with his recently deceased wife and two estranged sons, McCrae finds himself in a downward spiral of drugs and alcohol, while attempting to maintain his living as a university lecturer.
Even after years of intense loneliness, when a family tragedy occurs, McCrae is willing to reunited with estranged son and go any distance to save his loved ones – even beginning a life or organized crime.
McCrae’s previous career as a professional prize-winning boxer doubts his ability to bring his loved ones to safety, but his determination sends him on a violent, dangerous journey to confront the gang that murdered his son, Alpha gang member, Desmond Shaw (‘Game of Thrones’ Ian Beattie).
Colored by the bloodshed, FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT’s cinematography is also majestic, with its background scenes of the Scottish Countryside. Kirby’s highly entertaining drama features outstanding performers, such as Ian Bettie (“Alexander”, “Game of Thrones”) and Thomas Beatty (“True Strength”, “Nature of the Beast”). But, William McCure’s role (Matthew Jure – “Night Bus”, “Starlight & Superfish”) steals the show by captivating the audience, as they continuously root for him as the protagonist.
