Mission Impossible 6 Shuts Down Production

​Tom Cruise’s accident on the set of Mission: Impossible 6 has left the actor with a broken ankle.

"During production on the latest Mission: Impossiblefilm, Tom Cruise broke his ankle while performing a stunt," Paramount said Wednesday in a statement. "Production will go on hiatus while Tom makes a full recovery."

The action tentpole remains on schedule to open July 27, 2018.
