From Variety
Sony Pictures has signed on to distribute the long-stalled “The Crow Reborn” worldwide. The movie will be a reboot of the 1994 pic and is aiming to be a more faithful adaptation of the original graphic novel written by James O’Barr. Directed by Alex Proyas, the original “The Crow” grossed $50.7 million at the domestic box office. The film had been in development Relativity Media with various directors and actors for nearly a decade. It’s been in limbo since the company went bankrupt. Jack Huston had been attached for the lead role. Jason Momoa and Corin Hardy were last on board as star and director but neither is currently attached.

I don't think they should remake The Crow. That movie was Brandon Lee's legacy. Nobody else could play the part of Eric Draven and I do NOT support the remake of The Crow.

I agree with you 100%. But sadly, a lot of producers today have no imagination and need to remake older movies that were epic with hopes of biting off its popularity to make money. Luke Evans was originally supposed to play Eric Draven, which may have been their best chance at it being worth seeing

Give it a chance guys. Sometimes a retelling of the story isn't a bad thing.

This movie will not be the same cult classic. It became that way because of Brandon Lee. He literally put his life into making this film and he did fantastic with the character. If they didn't like the way it was being portrayed the first time then they shouldn't have done it. All the sequels and the tv show did horrible so that should say something. Comments are closed.
